Paper: Domain-General Operations in the Mind's 'Central Processing System'? A Test-Case for Psycho-Ontology

Certain aspects of the objects of human cognition seem to be present across most if not all cognitive domains. Examining these might give us something we could really use: A prima facie view of the operations of the mind's elusive central processing system.

Yoram Hazony is Provost of the Shalem Center in Jerusalem and a Senior Fellow in Shalem's Department of Philosophy, Political Theory and Religion (PPR). His next books are The Philosophy of Hebrew Scripture: An Introduction (Cambridge University Press, 2012) and Hume and the Science of Mind.Hazony is also director of Shalem's Jewish Philosophical Theology project, and is a member of the John Templeton Foundation Board of Advisors.
