Paper: Perceptual Experience and the Study of What There Is: A Relational Account

Perceptual experience plays a significant role in our understanding of both its objects and the psychology of the perceiver.

Axel Seemann's main research interest is in social cognition; much of his recent work has been concerned with joint attention. He has edited an interdisciplinary anthology on joint attention for MIT Press (forthcoming 2011). His most recent publications have appeared in the Review of Philosophy and Psychology, the Journal of the Philosophy of History, the Journal of Consciousness Studies, the International Journal of Philosophical Studies, and Inquiry, as well as various anthologies. He was a postdoc at UC Berkeley and currently is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Bentley University.
